Accessing the most current and relevant Census data
On April 28, 2011, Ana-Maria Garcia, Senior Partnership Specialist with the U.S Census Bureau’s Boston Regional Office gave two workshops focused on outlining what data is available through the U.S. Census Bureau’s websites and how to access that data. The sessions were quite similar, though the morning one was more basic, designed for people who use data less and generally just wanted an overview of what is available. The afternoon session was geared more towards heavy data users who may already be somewhat familiar with the Census Bureau data and website. This second workshop provided more information about exactly where to get different kinds of data.
Both sessions were filmed. Following are links to the videos of each, their entirety.
