Regional Leaders to be Honored at PVPC’s 49th Annual Meeting
The Pioneer Valley Planning Commission will honor three area leaders for their contributions to the region and the commonwealth at large at its 49th Annual Meeting Thursday, June 9, 6:00 p.m. at the Lyman and Merrie Wood Museum of Springfield History at the Springfield Museums.
Regional Recognition Awards will be presented to:
Paul E. Hills, Executive Director of the Ware Community Development Department, for his work in support of regional initiatives and programs and for his successful efforts in the area of community development for the Town of Ware.
Stanley W. Kulig, Superintendent of Public Works for the City of Chicopee, for his work in promoting and overseeing Connecticut River clean-up efforts, bikepath and walkway projects, and infrastructure improvements.
David F. Woods, Chair of Leadership Pioneer Valley, for his dedication to creating an advanced leadership development program that will support emerging and existing leaders in the region’s business, non-profit, and public sectors.PVPC officers and at-large Executive Committee members for 2011-2012 will be elected during the meeting.
